A short adoption contract is required. Agreeing to update vaccinations, heartworm preventatives, spay or neuter if needed. (We can have above done for a $60.00 - $70.00 fee)

About Electra Animal Control
We are a small impound holding faculity for the City of Electra. We hold animals until they are claimed or put up for adoption after 3-5 day holding period.
We work with area rescues in the hopes of placing these wonderful animals into permanent homes.
We do adopt animals out of our faculity as well. All animals are brought up to date on their vaccinations, heartworm tested, and spay or neutered. Cost is usually between $50.00 and $100.00.

Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
