Rescue FAQs

West Alabama Animal Rescue (WAAR) is a non profit all breed animal rescue group. We rescue pets from certain euthanasia from the local shelter and also take in abandoned and abused pets. We are volunteer based and rely soley on donations, fundraisers, and foster homes.

Additional adoption info

All of our pets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have had all vaccines and have been dewormed. All of our pets have been in foster homes and most have mastered house-training, basic obedience, and socialization. We do require an adoption application, home visit, and adoption fee of $100. We do require a contract to be signed.
