Shelter FAQs

Animal Lifeline of Iowa, Inc is a special needs, no-kill animal shelter that accepts unowned dogs/puppies and cats/kittens that are disabled, injured, neglected, pregnant, nursing and orphans requiring bottle feeding. Along with veterinary care, our army of caring volunteers nurse the animal back to health and when healthy we place the animal up for adoption. Our founding belief is that every animal deserves a loving home and should not be killed simply because they have been at the shelter too long. We are a 501 (c)3 charitable organization and rely solely on donations. We receive no government funding.
We adopt to families and individuals through out the U.S.
