The NECCOG Regional Animal Shelter is a safe haven for stray and unwanted dogs. We see more than 200 dogs a year come through our door. We do what is needed to make these friends adoptable. For your next friend and family member, look us up. We have something new all the time. The regional shelter serves the towns of Brooklyn, Killingly, Pomfret, Canterbury, and Sterling.

Additional adoption info

For pets that are not already spayed or neutered, the fee is $50.00 which includes a portion of the spay or neuter fee, with rabies and distemper shots. Most area veterinarians participate in our spay/neuter program. If the pet is already spayed or neutered, the fee is only $5.00 (and does not include any vaccinations).
