Some animals are part of our Take A Chance On Me program and have a zero adoption fee. You can see which ones on our website's "Take A Chance On Me" page.

These fees include spay or neuter, vaccinations. Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization, so your donations are tax deductible. Our adoption policies are as follows: We require a signed adoption contract, and payment of adoption fee prior to placement. Fee is refundable if the animal is returned within 30 days. We require that the animal be returned to our care, in the event the placement does not work out even if that is many years in the future.

About Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue

Ahimsa Haven was incorporated in 1999 as a nonprofit animal rescue group. Our mission is to find good homes for abandoned, homeless and unwanted domestic animals.

Ahimsa is a term from an eastern religion that means "To do no harm, in thought or deed, to any living creature". Every penny we raise goes to the animals - no one gets a salary!

Come Meet Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue's Pets
