Rescue FAQs
Shelter Animal Resource Alliance (S.A.R.A.) is a non-profit organization that rescues, assists and advocates for shelter animals, particularly animals at animal control shelters who would otherwise be euthanized. We also work to support community low-cost spay/neuter programs. We operate S.A.R.A.'s Treasures Gift & Thrift Shop at 871 River Road in Eugene to raise funds for our life-saving programs.

Adoption fees vary per cat or dog, and include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and much more!
If you are interested in adopting please email or call 541-607-8892 to have an adoption application emailed to you. Applications can also be picked up at S.A.R.A.'s Treasures open daily 10am-6pm. Once submitted, if looks to be a good match, we would schedule an appointment to meet them (following social distancing protocols).
