Areas Ruff Love Rescue and Foster Care Serves

We are based in Thomasville, NC, but our dogs are in foster homes all over the Piedmont. We try to keep our adoptions with in a 150 mile radius of the Piedmont Triad area , but we do make some exceptions.

Ruff Love Rescue and Foster Care's Adoption Process

We require potential adopters to fill out an application, and a home check is also part of the process. We look at each dog and each adopter on an individual basis and work to create a lasting and forever bond. All companion animals must be spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee is $250 unless otherwise noted.

About Ruff Love Rescue and Foster Care

Ruff Love was founded by Sue Rogers in response to the overwhelming numbers of abandoned dogs in the Randolph County/Davidson County area. Over time, we have developed a network of volunteers and foster homes. Our rescue efforts are geared toward dogs. We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization so all donations to us are tax deductible. Currently, we are caring for over 100 dogs in our program, and almost 70 are adoptable. Most of the dogs that are not up for adoption are either old or are suffering from chronic health conditions. They will live out their days well cared for and comfortable in with Ruff Love Rescue.
