ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. Email adopt@thisisthedog.org for an application. We will reply with application attached so you might have to check your spam folder. Complete Adoption Application and return to us at adopt@thisisthedog.org
2. Speak to our Interview Volunteer and the Foster

We get all dogs and cats in our care a full veterinary exam before adoption. This may include vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test, FIV/FELV testing, and dental and grooming services as needed. The adoption donation also includes a microchip.
Adoption donations are very critical to our existence -- they help us to continue rescuing these dogs and cats and to make sure that they are healthy and properly socialized before being adopted. Thank you for considering a dog or cat from This is the Dog!
