Shelter FAQs

Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI) rescues abandoned, abused and surrendered animals without geographic limitation. At ARRI, no animal is ever euthanized because of time, space, breed, or humanely treatable condition. We provide a safe, healthy, and loving environment during their temporary stay with us.. Central to our mission is our steadfast commitment to enlighten and inspire our community as teachers and advocates, supporting animal welfare through humane education. Through the generosity of devoted, loyal donors, our compassionate team of directors, staff, and trained volunteers works tirelessly every day delivering our promise. We are dedicated to making a difference for the hundreds of homeless animals we save every year and their adoptive families.
We are a non-profit organization committed to the humane welfare and well-being of animals in need. We serve all of RI and nearby CT and MA.
