Rescue FAQs

Angelcat Haven is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing cats that are in need of a HAVEN while waiting for their loving new homes. We have rescued over 1030 cats since 2006! This organization was formed to save a 4 month old stray kitten named Maddie, who was turned away from another shelter. With a wound of an unknown origin, (requiring a 6 month quarantine) and a broken leg. We fought for 5 days to save her and could not. Some stories do not have happy endings. Although she was small, she had a huge impact on our lives - she is our Angelcat. Our mission is to help the cats who fall through the cracks when existing shelters don't have room. We strive to reduce overpopulation through education, by promoting reduced cost spay-neuter programs, and instituting community trap and rescue programs. Every effort is made to work with and socialize the stray, abandoned and feral cats we rescue so that they can live out their lives in a warm, loving home. Donations can be mailed to: Angelcat Haven PO Box 2261 Plainville, MA 02762 Or: use the PayPal button at www.angelcathaven.com All donations are tax deductible! We are always in need of volunteers and foster homes! Without help, we cannot continue rescuing. Email info@angelcathaven.com for more information.
