Rescue FAQs

Friends Fur Life, Inc has existed since 1999 in the Knoxville TN area. We try to save as many animals as possible. We focus mostly on dogs and to a lesser degree, cats. We not only look to adopt out pets but also are setting up runs taking dogs (and hopefully cats) from our area to areas where there is a greater need. We hope to continue to build relationships with high quality rescues and shelters in these areas that don't euthanize and who screen well for future homes.
We are an all breed dog and cat rescue group based out of Knoxville and Madisonville TN. We do adopt out of state.

Additional adoption info

We have an application and a contract. We do home visits to make sure the particular pet is the best fit. We also do want to know that the person applying has been keeping their additional pets up on their vaccines. The pet is spayed or neutered, microchipped and registered, all shots are completed, dewormed, and checked for heartworms. Adoption fees run around $140-160.
