We are have a formal adoption request to fill out. It requires vet references, etc. It also is a spay/neuter contract for the adopted pet. Our fees basically cover only what we have spent on the pet.

We are an animal rescue league. We are 501C certified. We rescue dogs and puppies and find them homes. We have rescued over 200 this year. We also run a local spay/neuter Virginia transport.There are only 8 members in our league. We would like to do a lot more. We need more members and some funding. With the limited resources that we have, it is amazing that we have accomplished what we have. We would love to have a van to use for meeting puppy transports out of state. We need funds to feed to ones we have and vet them. It always seems to work out some way for us.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
