Rescue FAQs

We are a brand new humane society, only 9 months old. We have been blessed with a wonderful start by meeting some very wonderful people who are volunteering to help us on our mission to save animals that have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Were growing already and hope to be in full swing very soon. Of course, donations are needed to help us continue our journey. We are 501 (c)(3) . We have 9 foster homes already and approximately 8 volunteers and more ready to help when we are ready to occupy our building. Donations have been coming in from private individuals and local business's and we Thank them from the bottom of our hearts for the help and support they are showing us. We have approximately 37 animals in our care, some not listed as of yet on our Pet List, but will be soon. We have had several adoptions to wonderful homes in West TN and Mississippi and soon to be Kentucky. We always are in need of donations to help keep our pets healthy and happy while waiting for their new homes, and we always welcome more foster homes and volunteers. Thank you again for your support. Also you will find we have an account with PayPal for donations made on-line.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption procedures are very through. We want to make sure and match up the right pet with the right family for a long and lasting relationship. Call or e-mail for more information on the application process.

State of TN laws require that all animals adopted from Humane Societies must be spayed or neutered, however there are provisions set forth for puppies and females in-season.
