Rescue FAQs

New Hope Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, set up to help equines and other animals in need through rescue, adoption, education, and veterinary/spay/neuter assistance. We do not have a shelter, but rather the animals are homed with volunteers while they are being rehabilitated. Some animals are ready for adoption quite quickly; others take many long months to overcome physical and emotional abuses. We don't rush them. We do offer them new hope for a brighter future. We are always in need of safehouses for new rescues, as well as donations of dog and horse feed, hay, halters, horse blankets, brushes, etc. Please contact us for ideas on how you can help us to help mpre animals!!

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs and cats are up to date on all their medical and spayed or neutered before adoption. They are all house pets. The horses have been vetted, brought up to date on all vaccines, been dewormed, farriered, had teeth floated, etc. and have been evaluated for riding abilities (if applicable) before adoption.
All animals are placed with an adoption contract. The adoption fees for dogs range from $75 to $150, depending on the amount of medical care the animal required. The adoption fees for the horses have a wide range, based on how much medical care was required, age, riding ability, etc.
