The Humane Society of Delaware County's Adoption Process

Must be 18 years or older to adopt
We do not adopt out-of-state
Dogs: $150 + dog license
Puppies: $250 + dog license (1 year and younger)
Cats: $60
Kittens: $85 (1 year and younger)

The Humane Society of Delaware County offers adoptions, low-cost spay and neuter surgeries, and a low-cost Wellness and Vaccination clinic.

Come Meet The Humane Society of Delaware County's Pets

HSDC is closed on Mondays and Holidays.

The HSDC is open for adoptions and to the general public Tuesdays, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 12:00-6:00pm
Thursdays 12:00-7:00pm
Sundays 12:00-5:00pm.

We stop processing adoptions 30 minutes before closing.

The HSDC holds a low-cost vaccine/wellness clinic every Tuesday from 8:30-1:00, no appointment necessary.
