Our volunteer group, Friends of the Florence-Lauderdale Animal Shelter, coordinates the volunteers who provide daily pet care and socialization to the shelter pets. If you would like to share your time, love and dedication to the shelter pets, we would love to have you join our team! We take in homeless pets and owner surrenders from Lauderdale County. We enforce the City of Florence's animal ordinances. We provide Animal Control in the City of Florence and Lauderdale County and we assist law enforcement in their efforts to investigate animal abuse and neglect.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee is $85.00 which includes standard vaccines, rabies vaccination, microchips and sterilization surgery.
