Rescue FAQs

Our group is all volunteers, everyone loves animals and we all work together to rescue as many as we can. Our primary goal is to help animals find good loving homes with their new families.
Mid-Cities Humane Society is a Non-Profit organization operated exclusively by volunteers. Our primary goal is to rescue dogs/puppies/cats that will be euthanized at the local shelters as well as homeless dogs/cats in local neighborhoods. We rehabilitate the sick, provide current vet work and find these animals good homes. All rescued dogs/cats are kept in foster homes. We do not have a facility.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees for cats vary from $55 and up. This includes current shots, fecal, deworming, FELV test (for each adult cat or 1 kitten per litter), spay/neuter or partial spay/neuter coupon provided for kittens.
