The dogs we rescue are pulled from high kill shelters, we board our dogs until we get to know their personalities which helps us determine what type of home and family they should be placed with. We require an in-home visit with all of the family members. There is no adoption fee but we do ask for a donation to continue with rescuing other animals in need.

PAWS 4 THE CAUSE THE "Monny L Blevins All Breed Animal Rescue" is an independent non-profit organization founded by Lisa Blevins in April of 2007. With a passion and love for animals instilled at a very young age by her mother; Lisa has begun this journey in memory of her Mother to help stop the flow of the thousands of animals that are euthanized in kill shelters every year. Lisa looks to give these animals a "Second Chance" at life, so that they may find there way into a caring, loving home.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
