Rescue FAQs
Liberty County has a no-kill shelter and shares a building with animal control. Unfortunately, when the shelter is full and unable to pull animals from animal control, animal control officers are forced to euthanize animals every week - sometimes twice a week.
We serve Liberty County, Georgia. We are located approx. 45 miles southwest of Savannah, Georgia.
