Managed by LifeLine Animal Project, DeKalb County Animal Services provides a humane environment for DeKalb County’s homeless pets. We also provide other services such as veterinary care for our animals including spay/neuter surgeries, pet adoptions, pet reclaims, volunteer programs, foster home programs, rescue group coordination, and other lifesaving programs. LifeLine Animal Project is a non-profit animal welfare organization with a mission to end the euthanasia of healthy and treatable pets in Atlanta. We do this by offering affordable low-cost veterinary care and conducting community outreach to Atlanta's residents, transforming Atlanta into a lifesaving community. You can help by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating today!

Additional adoption info

We have many wonderful pets waiting to be adopted! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.
