Rescue FAQs

We help rescue dogs from high kill shelters in CT and other states and adopt them into loving homes. We also rescue retired puppy mill breeder dogs who have lived their entire life in a cage. Our dogs are in foster homes where they live with a family and shown by appointment only. We do not have a shelter. We also coordinate rescue efforts at times for other rescues and help them to arrange transport from other states to CT. All our dogs are fully vetted and spayed or neutered if old enough. Many have even had a dental. Please visit our Real Estate site where we donate a portion of every commission to animal rescue. www.ClaudiaGinter.raveis.com
We handle adoptions & Rehoming in most Connecticut towns.

Additional adoption info

We require an application, adoption fee, vet check, and home visit. We do not adopt out of the state of CT.
You must own your own home to adopt from us or have permission to own a pet permitted in your lease.
Adoption fees vary depending on dog.
We have a foster to adoption program where you can foster a dog for us and if you fall in love with one of our dogs you can adopt the dog into your family.
