Caring Hands Humane Society is a 501c3 non-profit, private organization dedicated to helping companion animals and the people who love them.
Our Mission, through the promotion of education in basic humane animal care, is to relieve animal suffering and to prevent cruelty to animals.
At Caring Hands Humane Society we believe all animals deserve to be treated with dignity and respect during all stages of life. We always strive to provide the best possible care to the animals entrusted to us and to educate others about the benefits of strengthening the bond between humans and companion animals.
At Caring Hands Humane Society we are dedicated to finding a home for every animal entrusted to us. We reached the goal of being a “no kill community” during 2016 & 2017, and we are committed to keeping that status every year from here out.

Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a PetWe always suggest meeting various pets at our facility to get a better idea of what you are looking for, or who might be looking for you!
- Submit ApplicationOnce you have interest in a pet, fill out an application. This can be done online before your visit if you are traveling a distance away.
- InterviewWe review your application once we receive it, and discuss with you what you are looking for and what works with your lifestyle.
- Approve ApplicationYour approved! Yay!
- Sign Adoption ContractThe adoption paperwork is printed and discussed. The adoption agreement is explained to you and signed by both parties.
- Pay FeeFees for dogs vary from $50-$225. The average fee is $115.
Cats under a year old are $50-$75, and over a year old are typically free. - Take the Pet HomeCongratulations on your new family addition!
