Additional adoption info
We are a volunteer run rescue group. All of our dogs are kept at foster homes, and are available for visit by appointment. Before you can adopt one of the DFH pets, you must first fill out an adoption application. There is no fee for applying! Within 3 business days, you can expect a response to your application. In the meantime, you can contact the rescue by email: destinationfureverhome@yahoo.com. Once your application is approved, you can then proceed to visiting your potential pet. After a connection is made, follow up will be done by one of our volunteers. This may include a home visit, but this is not always required. We can also arrange "Doggy Slumber Parties," where one or more of our dogs can stay with your and your family for a night, or a weekend, to see how they get along with the family. There is no fee for this arrangements! Once you've made your decision, you will be required to sign a contract, and agree to our the stipulations set forth by the rescue. An adoption fee of $125 applies to most dogs. (Smaller fees will be considered for some animals! Please ask us about this!) Again, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us!
