Rescue FAQs

Thank you for considering adopting a GSRA dog. We love that you are exploring rescuing a GSD. We firmly believe that the adoption of a dog is not one to be taken lightly. Because of this belief, our adoption process is what some would described as lengthy and can be emotional. If you are looking to take a dog home "tomorrow", unfortunately our organization is not for you.
We only adopt to people living in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
  2. Interview
  3. Home Check

Additional adoption info

Currently our screening process is taking 3-4 weeks. Please be patient. We want to give your application careful consideration.
