Rescue FAQs

We are a small private rescue catering to the needs of homeless animals in our area. We operate out of our own pockets and do not receive any government or business assistance. There are limited resources for homeless animals in rural Texas, so it became our mission to save as many animals from euthanasia as possible.
Dieringer Acres is located on 12 acres in the heart of central Texas. We are conveniently located 30 minutes from Waco, and an 45 minutes from Fort Hood/Killeen area.

Additional adoption info

All dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, placed on heartworm prevention and Frontline. We do require an adoption application, and home/reference/vet checks. All adopters must sign an adoption contract upon acceptance. We will not adopt to anyone under 18 years of age. Adoption fee of $100 unless otherwise noted
