The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County has the largest selection of adoptable pets in Washington State. Each year, more than 6,000 homeless dogs, cats, rabbits, and other animals are matched with loving families through our shelter.

Additional adoption info

Adopters are asked to fill out a brief survey to help match them with the pet that is right for them.
Adoption fees are described at www.thehumanesociety.org click on the ADOPT NOW tab at the top. Pet license fees may also be charged. Dogs, cats and rabbits are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, and dogs and cats are microchipped, and receive initial vaccinations.
