Stanislaus Animal Services Agency provides animal control for the whole of Stanislaus County with the exception of the cities of Newman, Riverbank, Turlock and Oakdale. The shelter houses stray animals found within Stanislaus County. We also issue dog licenses for the County, again with the exception of the cities of Newman, Riverbank, Turlock and Oakdale. For information please call 558-7387.

All that is required to adopt a dog or cat from us is a valid identification (must be over 18), verification of your current address, a signature on an adoption contract and the adoption fees ($90.00 + license for a dog or $45.00 for a cat).
