Areas Wags & Wishes serves
We serve primarily the Delmarva (Delaware, Maryland, Virginia) area but will adopt to any good home in any area.

Additional adoption info
Our Adoption Fee is 125.00 for dogs and 150.00 for puppies. They come spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
We require that all of the animals in your home be spayed/neutered and up to date on their vetrinary care, and we will contact your vet.
We also require permission from your landlord if you rent.
Finally, upon aproval of your adoption application we require you to sign an adoption contract.

About Wags & Wishes
Our Mission: Wags & Wishes Animal rescue's mission is to work with Animal Control and shelters in the Delmarva area. We will take adoptable animals that have been abandoned/without owners, and we will have them health checked, spayed or neutered and find them homes.
What We Do: As our mission states we help local shelters and Animal Control organizations reduce the number of animals being cared for by their organizations. By doing this we reduce the number of animals euthanized in our area. Wags & Wishes helps socialize animals within the foster environment. We make sure our animals are healthy and prepared to head off to their forever homes.
Who We Are: Wags & Wishes is run by a small group of individuals who previously and continue to work with local humane societies by fostering, and getting animals noticed within the community.

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
