Rescue FAQs

We are a small rescue group who keeps all dogs in foster homes. We do not have a shelter nor do we keep dogs in boarding. Most of our dogs are owner surrenders or strays that no one claims.
We adopt to the Maryland, Virginia, DC Metropolitan area. Generally, within an hours drive from DC. We occasionally make exceptions on distance but no farther than we can do a home visit for. Please ask if you are unsure.

Additional adoption info

The first step towards adoption would be to contact us for a NO OBLIGATION application. Once recvd, if you seem like a good match for the dog we will arrange a meeting. We do home visits for all placements. Adoption fee is $200. All dogs are spayed/neutered and current on all necessary vacines. Our requirements vary from dog to dog.
