Our normal adoption fee is $75. This includes all vaccinations and spay/neuter.
All our dogs are evaluated and receive a clean bill of health from a vet prior to being available for adoption. All are spayed/neutered.
You must provide a vet reference which we will check prior to placing a dog with you.

About Tater's Ark Animal Welfare Fund, Inc
We are a small private, all volunteer rescue dedicated to helping dogs many others refuse. We help mostly wonderful, all-american "mutts" who would not find help otherwise. Most of our dogs are saved on their last day in high kill animal control facilities. We believe these dogs know and appreciate that they have been rescued.
We provide all needed vet care, spay or neuter, vaccinations, and socialization and training so our dogs are "family ready" and in excellent health when they are offered for your consideration. Each dog receives lots of inividual attention. We want you to find a great pet and our dogs to get a wonderful home.

Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
