Rescue FAQs

We are a small group with only a few volunteers. We offer assistance to individuals that have dogs/puppies they cannot find a home for and contact us for placement assistance. We also visit the local animal shelter and select dogs/puppies to providing veterinary care, place in foster home and find adopters. We do this due to a deep love for dogs that has been ever present in my life. I am retired and this is my passion. I am also a board member and the local animal shelter. It is my personal goal to help animal overpopulation by doing my part to spread the word to spay/neuter while helping find homes for abandoned/needy dogs.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes a comprehensive application which includes veterinary references and three personal references. The personal references are individuals that have pets or have observed the applicants interaction with animals. Only one family member can be provided as a personal reference. Once veterinary references and personal references have been contacted, if we are satisfied with findings, a home visit is scheduled. If a home visit is not feasible due to location, pictures may be submitted via email. We have a list of what we want to see in the pictures. We do not adopt to anyone that does not have a fenced in yard. Our adoption fees vary based on veterinating expenses associated with each dog. They range from $100 to $300.
