Rescue FAQs
At Bark Ark, our main focus is pit bulls that are scheduled for euthanasia at local shelters. Our goal is to rescue the dogs, spay/ neuter and provide any needed medical intervention, and make sure the animal is trained in basic obedience. We will also provide follow up after the dog is in their new home. Our ultimate goal is a no kill community.
We are in the process of establishing a sanctuary to allow us to save more needy and deserving dogs.

Additional adoption info
Adoptive parents will be carefully screened. They will be required to sign an adoption contract/agreement. Home visit and reference check will be required. Ptibulls and pitbull mixes will not be placed in area with breed restrictions/ bans.
