Rescue FAQs
Love4all Pets was created by Gail Lang to place loving homeless pets in loving homes. Gail has been involved in a variety of animal welfare activism for 45+ years (wildlife rehabilitation, domestic animal care and rescue, and habitat preservation for wildlife), and specializes in medical rescue.
Tulsa, OK and surrounding area (we will do long distance adoptions with photos, references, and veterinary recommendations).
Additional adoption info
Our process is :
1) Meet the pet you are interested in to see if you are interested in going further with the process.
2) If you have other pets in the household, we arrange a visit to make sure all involved are compatible.
3) Fill out an adoption application (does require vet & references - for dogs, a fenced yard - for cats, we require a safe indoor environment).
4) We arrange a time for a home visit to make sure the environment is safe for the pet, and make recommendations if necessary.
5) We sign a contract with the adopting guardian - (we are a NO DECLAW cat rescue and that is included in our cat contract) - and the adoption fee is paid at that time. Our adoption fees vary and depend on the veterinary costs for the specific animal (from 75.00 for certain cats to 250.00 for large dogs over 100 lbs).
6) The adopted pet goes home with the new guardian, and we schedule follow-up visits to make sure the animal has adjusted to the new environment and is doing well.
