Rescue FAQs

Forever Friends is a 24/7 rescue group. We live by the motto "saving one animal will not change the world, but it will change the world for that one animal"
Friends Forever/Forever Friends is a 501c3 non profit and NYS Registered RR426 animal rescue group dedicated to helping the stray, sick and abandoned animals in CNY. We are a very small group with only a handful of foster homes that house our pets until they can be adopted. Forever Friends was established in 2002 when founder Casey Newton came upon a mom and kitten who needed help. Since 2002, Friends Forever has placed over 8000 homeless or unwanted pets into new homes. We currently take in dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, mice, and any other small pets. We also help with assisting people who may need help getting their pet spayed/neutered. Friends Forever is a non funded rescue, We relay solely on donations. We are dedicated to each one of the animals that come through our door, and also to the many others who have not yet been rescued. We will not stop. We will continue to fight the war on homeless and abused animals one heartbeat and a time.
