Saving Georgia Dogs, Inc. (SGD) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c) 3 animal welfare organization & licensed rescue in Georgia. We save dogs every day on death row in high- kill shelters throughout Georgia. Our motto is "We Leave No Dog Behind." We believe all dogs deserve a chance at life which is why we rescue in order of who's next to die. We pull, board, vet & rehabilitate dogs & help get them placed in loving forever homes. Through the generosity of people like you, we've saved thousands of dogs since we began in July 2006! We are located in Barnesville, GA.

Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
