Rescue FAQs

We are a 501-C-3, all volunteer organization dedicated to reducing the pet overpopulation problem in our county by funding low cost spays and neuters.
We also do rescue and have established a foster and adoption program, We also use all of the resources available through other rescue groups and pet fosters in our county to find temporary and permanent homes for our rescues.
We serve Volusia County, FL

Additional adoption info

We put all of our rescues into our foster and adoption program. We also network with all of the rescue groups in our county. We do whatever it takes to get our rescues a forever home.
We do require that potential adoptees complete an application and if they qualify they are required to sign a contract and pay whatever fees are associated with the pet they are adopting.
CCFAW provides funding for low cost spays and neuters to pet owners who cannot afford to take their animals to a veterinarian. We ask that they pay whatever amount they can for the spay or neuter and we pay the balance.
No one is every turned away.
