Shelter FAQs

SOCKS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the felines with whom we all share our lives. We value treating them compassionately, with dignity, respect, and understanding. We care about their quality of life and strive to treat our feline guests as we would our own pets. SOCKS provides a caring, home-like environment, free of cages, for over 100 cats and kittens daily in our shelter and in foster care. Cats with special requirements are cared for in an environment best suited for their needs.
