Rescue FAQs

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit animal sanctuary. We help those that cannot help themselves. We rescue those that have been abused and in many cases left for dead. We provide medical care,love,shelter to the precious lives that have been thrown away. At Safe Hollow Animal Sanctuary,Inc. all have a home of safety for the rest of their lives. We hope that all would be adopted into loving homes, but the truth is that some will live their life out at Safe Hollow. We do this because someone has to.
Long County,Jesup,Hinesville,Glenville,Brunswick. We help all that is within our power. No one is turned away because of location.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption program consist of a 5 page adoption application. First meeting to pick out the correct pet,and to recieve the completed application.Then we do an in home visit to inspect potenial home for new pet. If home passes ,new pet is left with new owner. In the following week several phone calls are made to check up on the new family. Last phase of adoption is a surprise visit made to check on the care being given to the new pet. All refferences are checked.If adoption fails for any reason at any time pet is to be returned to Safe Hollow.
