Rescue FAQs

Colorado Canine Rescue is a newly founded rescue group, which is located in Englewood, CO. We were incorporated in August of 2008 with a goal to help decrease the amount of dogs euthanized due to pet overpopulation. Our mission is to rescue dogs from shelters who are slated for euthanasia. Our dogs are cared for in foster homes while receiving proper training, veterinary care, and lots of love. For more information about our group, please visit our website www.coloradocaninerescue.org . We currently need volunteers and foster homes, so please contact us if you would like to become involved!
Colorado Canine Rescue is happy to adopt out of the state of Colorado as long as all appropriate information can be obtained and requirements met.

Additional adoption info

Upon adoption, each dog will be up-to-date on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered if of appropriate age and have a microchip identifier placed. A minimum $100 donation is required to cover these costs and will vary with each adoption. Please review the adoption policy and procedures and complete the adoption application, which are posted on our website. Once adoption is approved, a signed adoption contract is required.
