Areas Creston Pet Adoption and Welfare Society Serves

The Creston Pet Adoption and Welfare Society (PAWS) is a registered, non-profit society committed to finding safe, comfortable homes for abandoned and unwanted animals in the Creston Valley. PAWS serves an area of approximately 3500 square miles. In 2010 we realised our goal to establish Claudia's Place, a full service animal facility in the Creston Valley. Everyone at PAWS is a volunteer and we operate on a budget funded by volunteer fundraising, donations and grants only.

Creston Pet Adoption and Welfare Society's Adoption Process

1. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

*Out-of-town applicants are welcome to be pre-approved to adopt before meeting the pet. Encourage dog meet and greets.

2. Submit Application

Find our online applications at pawscreston.ca/Adopt

3. Approve Application

4. Pay Fee

5. Take the Pet Home

PAWS offers a 14-day trial with the pet to make sure it's a good fit for the home and other pets and family members.

We look for the best fit for the pet and the home, thus applications are not first-come, first-serve.
