Rescue FAQs

SAFE (Saving Animals From Euthanasia) pulls adoptable animals who are about to be euthanized in high kill shelters. We also will take in animals who are on their way to a kill shelter. Since 2008, we have saved over 28,000 animals!! SAFE is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue, Inc. was founded in September 2008 with the goal of saving adoptable dogs and cats from euthanasia in Northeast Florida. We primarily serve St. Johns and Putnam Counties.

Additional adoption info

All animals are spayed /neutered, vaccinated, on flea preventative. Dogs are tested for heartworms and cats for FIV/aids.
All of our pets must live indoors.
We require an adoption application and contract.
