Dreamland Animal Rescue Animal rescue in Ermine, KY

We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit animal rescue that takes in dogs and cats that are in need of a new home. All animals taken in are fully vetted and placed in foster homes until they can find a new home no matter how long this may take. We are a no-kill rescue meaning that we only euthanize animals that's suffering cannot be helped or those that are too aggressive to be around people safely. We take in all breeds, sizes, and ages of pets, but often take in those that have the most trouble getting adopted such as the injured or sick, the older, or the not so beautiful (we think they are all beautiful).

Rescue FAQs

We take in dogs and cats from the surrounding areas that need a place to stay until they find their forever home. Some of these animals are strays, some owner surrenders and some are pulled from local high kill shelters when their time there is up.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application, provide a veterinarian reference, and agree to a home visit as requirements to adopt. If selected to adopt you must also sign an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee (used to cover the medical care of the pet you are adopting).
