Shelter FAQs

Beginning July 1, 2015, the City of Sedalia assumed operations of the Sedalia Animal Shelter. Donations are always appreciated. The shelter is always in need of bleach, laundry soap, dish soap, treats and toys. Monetary donations can be made at the shelter or at the City's Municipal Building.

Adoption prices for dog's range from $55 to $150.
Adoption prices for cat's $35 to $45.
All animals adopted from our shelter are up to date on all vaccines, and given a clean bill of health from our vet. All animals are spayed/neutered, and microchipped before their release.
