Two by Two Rescue

Two by Two Rescue began in 2002 when two ladies met and began feeding strays in Old Town Helena, Alabama. The rescue has grown to a 501 C (3) volunteer, no-kill organization. Our goal is to save the lives of abandoned, unwanted, and abused animals regardless of breed, age, or medical cost, and educate the public about responsible pet care. We care for these rescues in private foster homes. Our animals are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. We receive no state funding or government assistance. We survive by the donations of caring people, fund raising, and adoption fees.

On February 7, 2009, our founder received Pedigree's national "Shelter Organization Hero" Award as a result of her dedication to animal rescue.
