About Shelby Humane

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. Beginning in 2018, we will launch Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
