Shelter FAQs

We are an all volunteer organization working to provide shelter and find forever, loving homes for the dogs that are brought in by the local animal control agency.
The Charleston Dog Shelter is located in Charleston, Arkansas. We adopt locally and out of area with approved references.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee is $60 All are altered prior to adoption. References may be required as may a home visit. We are very rescue friendly with approved references.

Donations taken through the City of Charleston and designated "Dog Shelter" are tax deductable. We are supported totally by private donations. We always need food, treats, bleach, kennel-stable flying insect spray, Adams Flea Control, and Frontline Plus.
