Sarah's Treasures Rescue does NOT have a shelter building. All of our pets are in foster homes. Our foster families provide valuable insight into each pets' personality, temperament, and unique features which help place him/her in the best home possible.
Sarah's Treasures Rescue is incorporated in the state of South Dakota and we have applied for our non-profit status from the IRS. We have no paid staff or workers and 100% foster home and volunteer operated. All donations go directly to the pets. As of April 29, 2010, we have been approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Founded in 2009, we’re a foster-based dog rescue in the Watertown, SD area. That means no shelter building. Every dog lives in a foster home, learning how to be part of a family.

You can’t just stop by. Since our dogs are in foster homes, all visits are by application only.
