Rescue FAQs

We have been rescueing dogs for 3 years now and have transported well over 600 in that time to no-kill shelters in northern IL, IN, WI and Michigan. We should have our 501c3 any time now. We have applied and keep up rescueing dogs while we wait to be able to raise money. We have purchased a cargo van for transport. We shelter and train dogs. We started so that we could save the large dogs in shelters who are not adoptable because they are unruly. We train them and find fantastic homes for them or transport them to other shelters who have larger numbers of adoptions than our little community.
Mostly Chrisman in Edgar County. We help other groups from Edgar County and other neighboring counties

Additional adoption info

They must fill out an adoption contract, be approved by the board and adoption fee is $150.
