Shelter FAQs
We are a non-profit, no kill shelter in West Branch, Michigan. We opened our doors in June 2009, and are here for the taking in, rehabilitation, and re-homing of stray animals located in Ogemaw County and surrounding area.
Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a PetNo appointment necessary unless animal is in foster
- InterviewAnswer questions and talk with our staff about the pet and your home.

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process takes as long as you need to find the perfect companion. We offer home visits with the adult dogs with a $50.00 fee that is non-refundable. If you choose to adopt, it goes towards the adoption fee. All of our adoption fees include the spay/neuter, rabies and other recommended vaccinations. Adoption fees vary depending on age.
