Our mission is:
To provide shelter to lost and homeless animals, to educate the community about the humane care and treatment of all animals, to advocate animal welfare, and to further the bond between people and animals.
We are located in central Nebraska and are very happy to adopt our pets to many areas of our state or surrounding states.

Adoption steps

  1. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
    1. Please stop in to CNHS to meet the pet you are interested in.Our staff can answer any questions you have.
  2. Submit Application
    1. Our application requires references and a vet check on your current or past animals in the home.
  3. Sign Adoption Contract

We have a quick adoption application, then a contract we ask to be filled out. From there, you and your new best friend are ready to go home!
